Daisy - Oxeye - medium pot

Oxeye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) is a classic white daisy, charming and simple! Lovely in borders and cottage gardens, it combines well with Yarrow, blue/purple Salvia (such as May Night) and Bee Balm. Reaching 12-24" tall and wide, Oxeye Daisy is an easy-to-grow perennial that thrives in full sun and average soil. Flowers appear from mid-spring to the end of June with occasional blooms opening throughout the rest of the growing season. Deadheading spent flowers encourages more blooms. If you want a second strong flush of flowers later in the season, cut the plants back to the rounded basal leaves. Pollinator friendly. In addition to being pretty, Oxeye Daisy is also a favorite edible of backyard foragers. The basal leaves are best; their flavor is an interesting combination of spinach, lemon, and pepper.
